Toasty

Toasty has been in rescue 10 months and still in search of a forever home! He is a young German Shepherd (just shy of 2), who didn't have a great start at life. He was skinny and had no fur. Yes, you read that right, he was a naked mole rat with jammies! He didn't let that stop him from winning everyone over with his smile and kisses. If this has peaked your intrest then hopefully this will win you over, Toasty loves to go for walks, play in the backyard, take photos, dine out, and cuddle. He's super smart and eager to work, he could easily be your next sport prospect. Now your probably sitting here wondering "what's the catch?". Unfortunately like every tinder date, he has some issues. Toasty prefers women and wants to be the only pet in your home (he isn’t dog aggressive, he just doesn’t want to share his humans!) He also screams like a banshee in the car….it's okay though ear plugs can solve that! ? He has some separation anxiety and requires a strong crate. Toasty doesn't like to give up his ball but has learned to trade! Like many shepherds, He can take a little bit to warm up but once you gain his trust he will be completely loyal to you. Just look at that face! How could you say no? Toasty will require an experienced adopter willing To continue his training. He's food, toy, and praise motivated so training is a breeze!.
