Introducing Toby, a young and house-trained dog with a knack for adventure! This loyal 1-year-old Lab is playful, friendly, and smart. His intelligence shines through in his quick learning; he's housebroken and knows the command 'sit'! Toby is dog-friendly and loves his canine friends at the shelter, although he's not a huge fan of cats. He would be best suited to a home without children, as he tends to resource guard his food and toys. With some training, we feel he can overcome this. Toby loves squeaky toys and playing outdoors - a big backyard would be his dream! He's a big lovable lap dog that's looking for someone to take a chance on him. Adopt Toby, and you'll never have a dull day again! At the Humane Society of Southwest Missouri, our goal is to match potential adopters with a pet that is best suited to their home, interests, and lifestyle. All of our animals are up to date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered, microchipped, given flea/tick prevention, and dewormer.
