TOM

Tom is a heartbreaker that has brought a lot of volunteers and rescuers at the shelter to tears. At approximately 7 - 8 years old, he was dropped off at the shelter because his owners were moving. He sat in his cage, tail pounding, smiling, wanting attention and loving every second of it when he got it.

We rescued Tom from death in the New York City shelter; he was unable to go up for adoption due to a fatty tumor on his side and he would have been put to sleep. No one could bear to let this happen to this wonderful boy. He was brought down to NJ and is currently staying at our vet’s office getting complete medical care.

Tom is a 7-8 year old brindle lab mix, neutered and housebroken. A little chubby, but hey, can’t we all use a few more walks. He is happy, kissy and has no behavior concerns at all. He loves all dogs, cats and people. He is just a dream come true. He has an amazing spirit and is just so lovable.
