Thank you. ------------------------------------------------------ Fostered in Scarborough This is me Tonka, handsome if I do say so myself. I am a sweet, sweet 3 year old, 65lb Hound mix. I am very affectionate, always trying to give kisses and snuggle with my people. I am gentle and loving, taking advantage of any attention or cuddle time I might get. I enjoy meeting new people and other dogs (except aggressive ones). I am really a social butterfly once I feel comfortable in the home. I am an active boy that enjoys spending my day playing with my toys and my canine foster sibling. I can be shy, so a quiet home is best for me. I also enjoy daily walks and lots of backyard time, in my foster home. I do walk well on leash, and have learned not to pull while following my nose, as any hound does. I am house trained and crate trained and at night I sleep soundly. I have wonderful house manners and I am not destructive in the home. The ideal home for me would be a quiet one with an active single or couple that enjoys outdoor activities and would include me in their adventures. It would be best if any children were older (10+). I would really like a canine sibling(s) to run and wrestle with daily, as well as enable my confidence to grow. I like my doggie friends which is why I would like to be in a home with another canine companion. I need a fenced yard with a backyard to run and play in. I will also need daily walks to keep me stimulated and happy. Tonka is a very special boy, embodying pure unconditional love.
