Tosh

Tosh is a gem! We are guessing him to be a 2 year old hound mix. He is outgoing and friendly. He greets new people happily and eagerly. He is not jumpy but happy to meet new people. He rides beautuflly in the car. He will sit on the backseat in the car as though he is posing for a picture. He is very well mannered and will sit to take a treat ever so gently from your hand. So far, he appears to be housebroken. He goes to work with one of our volunteers occasionally and he is a perfect gentlemen in her office. He will lay quietly on his bed chewing on a bone and periodically come over for some loving. He doesn't bark or make any noise when he hears noises in the hallway or when a delivery person comes in. Tosh is attentive and really enjoys the company of people. He should be a very easy dog to train. If you are looking for a good companion dog Tosh is your man! The adoption fee for Tosh is $300.00.
ADOPTION FEE: The adoption fee includes all age appropriate vaccinations including rabies, HW test if age appropriate, de-worming, microchip, fecal, spay or neuter, Heartworm and flea and tick preventative.

ADOPTION PROCESS: PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an application online at www.placingpawsrescue.org.
Once we review the applications, those applicants that are thought to be a good match will be contacted as quickly as possibly. We ask that you please be patient with us as we are all volunteers. Then a telephone interview will take place, references checked and a home visit will be conducted. We will then arrange for you to meet the dog. We require that all family members, including current dogs meet the dog prior to adoption. We put all of the known information in the animals description. If the animal is listed on the website, we are still accepting applications for that animal. We only remove the animal when the final adoption paperwork is signed.
