Train

Train is one of our six sanctuary dogs who has been in rescue since 2020. He was adopted in 2021 and returned to us because he didn't adjust to a new environment. Train has been in his foster home for such a long time now that we feel he would not do well transitioning to a new home. So we will continue to love and care for him in rescue. We appreciate donations towards his food/treats, monthly preventatives, and routines vet care. Train was surrendered to us by a family who was moving and couldn't take him with them. Train has a playful spirit. He loves walks and chooses to walk right next to his foster dad when out walking. Train knows sit and will come when called. Train enjoys the companionship of other dogs and cats are ok too. Train has some seasonal allergies that he takes medication for and is also on a special diet. Train is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and up to date on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives. Our Adoption Requirements: A secure and visible fence. In order for your application to be approved, you must also pass a home check and a vet check which includes having at least a two year vet history. Our adoptable dogs can be adopted in Missouri and surrounding states: Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Arkansas, and Nebraska. We are able to transport to those states.
