Travis

Travis is a 4 year old pup who came to ACCT as a stray with another dog in February. When our APOs went to pick up Travis and his sister from the finder Travis was loose and friendly! His sister quickly was scooped up by a rescue partner, but Travis is still waiting for his forever family to come along. While in the shelter, Travis quickly became a staff and volunteer favorite. Travis LOVES toys and would wait patiently at the front of his kennel with a toy in his mouth for you to take him out. If he didn't have a toy with him he would carry around his empty food bowl and when he gets a new toy he gets very proud and excited. Travis is currently residing in foster care and his foster parents have great things to say about him: Travis LOVES toys. He carries them all over the house and many times even on walks! Travis is completely house trained and we can trust leaving him outside of his crate all day and night as he doesn't grab what's not his. When he's not playing, he loves to lay around... he can be quite the couch potato. Travis is a hunk of burning love to humans (including strangers) from what we've observed... licking, snuggling, and just being an all around 70 lb lap dog. He loves his humans and would like to be the only pet! Travis will impress you with his good listening skills, responding to many commands like sit and come.
