Trixie Belle is shy and nervous when meeting new people, but opens up after a couple of days and becomes your shadow. She loves to be petted and get butt scratches once she trusts you and will gently paw your hand to get them. She also loves to curl up on the coach near you (although she doesn’t care to be picked up) and is perfectly content to be a couch potato most of the day. She is good with other dogs and fine with cats (stays away from them). She is a bit too nervous for children. She is already potty and kennel trained. If you want to meet a pup in person, Once Upon a Tail Rescue does adoption events at PetSmart in Covington, LA on most Saturdays with many of our adoptable dogs there. Don't forget to complete your application ahead of time, so you don't miss out on the pup you've connected with. If pre-approved, you have first priority & can usually take home your new best friend the same day! *Please note that there is no obligation to adopt by completing an application.* **All dogs are required to have complete vet services, including shots, rabies, spay/neuter and microchip, which are included in the Adoption Fee. Some dogs may still require completion of these services due to current age, size, breed and/or health. All vet services must be done at the vet clinic used by Once Upon a Tail Rescue.
