TROOPER - lover boy!

Please meet Trooper! To look at this handsome boy, you'd never know what a rough beginning he had in life. As puppies, some of his siblings didn't make it but, true to his name, Trooper hung on and has been receiving lots of TLC in his kind foster home while waiting for a place to hang his leash forever. Trooper is now about 12 months old and weighs in at around 50 pounds...every ounce filled with sweetness. We know that his mom was a beagle/hound mix, but have no info about dad. Looks like he may have some lab in him, but we'll call him a "Heinz 57" pup....the best kind. He is house trained, kennel trained and coming along with leash training. This smart, treat-driven boy wants to please so he'll continue to improve with practice. . He also knows several basic commands and loves to carry his stuffies around with him. There are two small dogs and a mediums sized one in Trooper's foster home. He gets along well with all and knows how to respectful the size of the little ones. There is also a resident cat. Like all pups, he can be playful, but he'd do fine with a dog savvy kitty in his forever home. He has not been fostered with children; however with is gentle, sweet nature, we think he'd be a great addition to a family with kids above toddler age. Trooper has been spayed, micro-chipped and is up to date with vaccinations. He's also on monthly flea/tick and heart worm preventative.
