Tulip is approximately 17 weeks old in these pictures taken April 17, 2008. She and her four (4) other siblings, Dandelion (M), Poppy (M), Iris (F), and Aster (M), were found by one of our foster moms when she went out to check on her other charges. Someone had dumped the five (5) Rat Terrier puppies over her fence. They were very hungry and covered in ticks. Otherwise they seem to be in good health. All of them are starting to get over being shy with humans. MORE INFO to come as the foster moms gets to know them better.
UPDATE - March 20, 2008: From the foster parents. Tulip is a sweet sweet girl. She runs up to you and wants to be scratched all over. She just rolls over and over so you can reach her chin and tummy and back and feet and every other part of her. It?s so much fun and she really enjoys it. And what great kisses.
NOTE: All of the puppies are in a foster home. A completed and processed application is required before an appointment will be made to see them. Thank you for your understanding.
