Ty has made so many friends, first in the shelter, and then in the boarding kennel where he has lived since being rescued in February 2023. But none of his friends have been able to foster or adopt him, so he waits...
Ty is a sweet, friendly boy with a traumatic past--he was impounded as a cruelty case after his owner stabbed him multiple times. When he was first in the shelter, he was scared and would bark at people, but the staff and volunteers worked with him to help him feel safe and comfortable. He needs a new family who will do the same.
Ty is super house trained. He loves hanging out with his people, and sunning himself in the yard, and going for car rides. On a recent trip to DQ, he enjoyed a pup cup, and he even waited for permission to help himself! What a polite boy! He is getting very stressed living in a kennel and we would really like to see him in a home ASAP.
**We are no longer placing dogs for adoption in apartments. Adopters must have a fenced backyard.**
