My Story

Poor Tyke was as poorly bred as they come. He struggled with neurological issues, poor conformation, and aggression issues that are not tolerable in pit bulls. Rescued off a chain at 6 months he never even had a shot. Luckily a big-hearted, Liz and Joey, decided to take Tyke in and try to work with him. He enjoyed so much cuddle time, play time, camping trips, annoying their two girl dogs, and everything else a dog deserves. However we all realized he could not be kept safe from the world forever, and despite his happy times, he lived with so much fear. He was humanely put to sleep in the arms of all who adored him.

Oh Tyke, what a little heart-throb. This little gent is just learning about the big world, after spending most of his young life on a chain. He's now lapping up the attention in foster care, and proving himself to be such a ham. With his classic pit bull style he is quickly gaining bulldog bravado, and starting to act like a typical puppy. He loves to chew, he loves to play, and cover folks in kisses.

Tyke is searching for a breed experienced home to conitnue his socialization. Preferably one with a female dog to show him the ropes, but he would do just fine as an only dog with a dedicated family. If you love pitties with gusto, be may just be your boy.
