Rocket: English Pointer, black & white; ten years old. Very sweet, loves to be by your side. He is a good watch dog; lets you know when someone is at the house.

Regina: Chocolate Lab; 7 years old. She is very friendly and loving. She is fairly mellow for the breed. Sensitive to moods/feeling of people and offers comfort.

Rocket and Regina are up-to-date on their shots and healthy. They are both low maintenance. They are good with kids as well as other animals. They are both good listeners; come when you call, go out side when told, get off the furniture (Rocket often sneaks onto the couch if he gets the chance), get down if they jump up, etc. They have a large fenced in yard, with a screened in porch for their space. They are not leash dogs. I haven’t walked them on leashes much because of the convenience of the protected yard.

Rocket and Regina are fairly dependent on each other. They are typically together whether sleeping, playing in the yard or just hanging out. Even though Rocket is the older of the two, Regina is the ‘mother hen’; she looks out for Rocket. She loves to play fetch with a tennis ball or Frisbee; Rocket runs with her, but doesn’t care much about getting the ball. It’s as if he is showing her where it is. Regina loves the water. Rocket follows along, however stops at the water’s edge and waits for her; he does not like to go in.

The owner is in an unfortunate circumstance and sadly, unable to take Rocket and Regina with her. They are such special dogs and will make a wonderful addition to any family!
