Sometimes things just happen. In this case, Soup, an older, neutered, 100 pound, male has lived most, if not all, of his life in homeless camps. His recent adventure brought him from Oregon by two homeless men. They walked and when they got to Yuba City, Soup collapsed on the sidewalk from heat exhaustion. The shelter got the individuals to sign Soup over to shelter and then the Officer got him to the vet just in time to revive him. The shelter says he’s a VERY sweet boy who has lived his entire life being bounced from pillar to post. Although he may have minor cataracts, he appears to be in good health and only wants to be with his humans. If you're looking for an older dog to love and who will absolutely give you tons of love in return, please contact the Sutter County Animal Care Services at (530) 822-7375 or stop by 102 2nd Street in Yuba City, CA. Since he's already neutered, his adoption fee is extremely affordable, but his time, like all shelter dogs is limited.
