My Story

Adopted August 2008 My name is Watson. I am a mix, Am Staff / Rottie maybe some Boxer or Mastiff. I was found wandering the streets in Queens searching for food when a For Our Friends volunteer found me. She gave me food and water, and pet me and hugged me, and I was so happy. She cannot keep me though, because she already has a big dog who is not friendly with me. So For Our Friends is going to help find me a forever home, hopefully with a nice back yard. I am still a puppy – they say I am not even a year old. And boy am I a big teddy bear. I am anxious to please and I already know some commands. I love to go for walks, so I walk great on a leash and I go wherever you want me to go. They say I am about 90% housebroken. I was recently evaluated by a trainer and she said I am a great dog and that I am very trainable. I am a very friendly, happy-go-lucky guy. I love treats and I take them very gently and patiently. I love to run and chase a ball, and sometimes I show off and catch the ball in mid-air. Although I am a big boy, I think I am a lap dog, and I love to snuggle and give kisses. I am neutered, micro-chipped and up-to-date on my shots.
