Sadly, this spunky little guy found himself back in the same shelter where he was adopted four years earlier due to a move. After welcoming him into one of our foster homes, we can’t understand how anyone could have parted with him.

Besides his handsome looks, Willy is a terrific dog who enjoys affection, a soft bed, and being part of a family. The key to unlocking his charm is to pet and praise him. He’ll let you know how happy he is with a throaty coo that seems to say, “Oh boy, that feels good, please don’t stop!” Willy is always ready for any type of activity. Nothing pleases him more than the sight of a leash or the backseat of a car. He walks perfectly on a leash and enjoys being outdoors; either going for a walk or sunbathing on his foster mom’s deck.

Willy is good with older children and gets along well with cats and other dogs. He is housebroken, up-to-date on vaccinations and is neutered. We think he is about five years old, and given his maturity, he’s easy to care for and would adapt well into most families. If you are in search of a dog with lots of personality and charm, then Willy Wonka may be your golden ticket!
