Winnie

Winnie is an adorable Bearded Collie, about 8-10 months old and 45 lbs. She will be groomed shortly. She has been couped up in a city shelter for about a month and is very happy to have her freedom. She is active and playful. She is living in a foster home with other dogs and older kids & has not yet had an accident. She is a bit leary of other dogs at first but then loves to run and play with them. She will need some training since she is still very much a puppy and possibly a "job" to do, so an experienced owner would be best for her. She is sweet and affectionate and tries hard to please.


Our organization is run by volunteers who try our best to save as many homeless pets as possible. Since there are only a few of us, please understand that we are unable to answer phone calls about our animals. The first step is to fill out an adoption application which you can find on our website: www.ny-petrescue.org and we will contact you as soon as we can, usually within 5 days. We also don't have a shelter where you can come and meet the dogs. All showings are by appointment after your application has been approved.
