Chance is an older Pit Bull mix puppy that will just melt your heart! Poor Chance was relinquished to a high kill shelter in Gary , Indiana with another dog and his mother, a pure bred yellow lab who had died from starvation. While we know his mother was a Lab, it looks like dad may have been a Pit Bull– although he has a sweet dober-lean just like a Doberman!! Chance was rescued from the shelter by an independent rescuer and brought to a kennel where he had little exposure to be adopted. We couldn’t see such a sweet young boy sit in a kennel forever so IDR took him in to find him his forever home. Chance just loves everyone he meets! Being with people is his favorite pastime as this boy would be happy spending all of his time with you. He also seems to love other dogs and seems fine with cats. We think he is about 10 months old so he needs an owner who will give him the training and exercise that a young dog needs.
