Yale is an older gentleman who has seen some of the worst the world has to offer a dog. He came from a commercial breeding facility that, like so many, doesn't care about the health of the parents, only about the offspring they can produce and the money they will then make.

Now in foster care, Yale is growing stronger. He is now crate trained and is housetrained to one room of the house. He is introduced to one room at a time and is beginning to figure out that one does not mark when one is inside- a huge accomplishment for an older dog that was only recently neutered!

Yale is extremely laid back. Some dogs that come from such a challenging background take time to develop a personality. He is, however, a lap hog and would like nothing better than to remain in a lap for the entire day, getting up solely for bathroom breaks, dinner, and his other favorite daytime adventure- walks!

Yale is up for walks around the neighborhood and enjoys them immensely! He even has a special wiggle to indicate his delight! He's older and his legs are a bit bowed, but he can still enjoy a good walk to check out the scenery!

This old guy is looking for a quiet place to call home. He wants an understanding individual or family that is not particularly active. He'd enjoy going everywhere with his family and hanging out. He simply needs a home where he will be loved on and doted on for the rest of his life. A home that will find joy as Yale's personality develops and he grows into a true dog- something that has been denied him for far too long!
