Arrival story: Hi, I'm Zeus. I came to Waggin' Tails as a stray. I have a nice foster family taking care of me until my forever home comes along. And it is so nice to not worry about where my next meal is coming from.

Approximate age / weight: Approx 5 years young and 45lbs full grown. The perfect size!

Personality: My foster family gushes about what a great dog I am to everyone they meet. I am very easy going and friendly. I made fast friends with the resident dog in my temporary home and other dogs that I've met and I do really well riding in the car. I am gentle taking treats and generally laid back all around. I am completely housetrained and have full run of the house when my foster family is away. I walk nicely on a leash, too! I'd make a great addition to a family willing to take a chance on me. My breed is probably a rottie mix but I'm no guard dog! After fending for myself out on the streets I'm looking for a nice, cushy place to lay my head each night. I promise to be a loving and devoted dog if you'll promise to provide me love and attention for the rest of my days. Love, Zeus

Pre-Adoption Application: To be considered for a dog, it is best to submit a pre-adoption application. The Pre-Adoption Application can be downloaded from our website - http://www.waggintailsdogrescue.org/adoptionprocess.html. Just complete the application and email it back to [email protected]

Waggin' Tails Adoption Information: Waggin' Tails Dog Rescue has a standard adoption fee of $175 for adult dogs. Different adoption fees apply for older dogs, small breeds and puppies - $100 for senior dogs (9 years +), $275 for small breed dogs and $200 for puppies plus a $50 deposit which is returned upon proof of spay/neuter at six months of age.
Our adoption process includes an application, vet reference checks, and a home visit.

We do not have a facility; all of our dogs are fostered in private homes. To view our dogs, please check www.waggintailsdogrescue.org for the dates of our next adoption events. To meet a dog in person, please see our event calendar for the latest information. Arrangements can be made to meet our rescue dogs outside of Saturday adoption events after an approved application is submitted (the application does not imply an obligation by the applicant or by the rescue group).
