My Story
Female, 11 months, ~30 lbs
Personality: outgoing. eager-to-please, gentle, snuggler, energetic, playful, adventurous, good running partner, smart, goofy/funny, and mischievous.
Did you know that the name Zoe originates from ancient Greek and means "LIFE? Well, that's me, Zoe, and I'm full of life and looking to bring renewed life to your household! I am curious, smart, and playful, yet I am also gentle and cuddly. I will keep you amused inside and out, as I love toys of all kinds and can entertain myself with a bouncy ball.
Outside, I LOVE to explore the outdoors and would be a great pal to help you attain your step goal each day. If you're tired at the end of a long day, we can also go to the dog park, where I'll make friends and run to my heart's content. When you're ready to take it slow, I'm also a big fan of sniffing my way down the block. Nothing is too small to escape my nose's interest! After all, I've got some hound in me.
My foster mom says I am a little angel in dog form! So, while I am full of life, I am gentle and love to be around dogs and people. My motto is play hard/nap hard!
Let's celebrate life (or Zoe) with a walk and some sniffs. I will thrive with an active adopter who is looking for a dog with puppy energy and who is ready to take on the world with me! I have learned the word sit, and am eager to learn even more. We can plan a life together filled with funtime, love, treats, and naps.

City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is a foster-based rescue in Washington, DC. We do not have a shelter. CDCK has a thorough adoption process to find the best possible fit for each of our dogs and cats (we do not operate under a first-come, first-served model).
Upon accepting a new cat or dog into the organization, we provide a basic vet visit that includes necessary vaccinations, disease screenings, deworming, microchips, and spay/neuter for dogs six months and older. We do not provide a comprehensive medical exam before adoption. As a result, sickness, injury, and disability may exist unbeknownst to CDCK. City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is not responsible for payment of any vet care, including known and unknown medical conditions once a cat or dog is adopted from us.
Dog specific: Rabies, DHPP, Leptospirosis, and Bordetella vaccines. They are tested for HW, Lyme, Ehrlichia, Anaplasmosis.
Most cats and dogs will have a house-training accident in the initial days in their new home and we cannot guarantee any pet is housebroken or crate trained.
