Floyd was found in a horrible condition.. He had a "concrete" collar on that had obviously been on him for years. The layers of dirt on it had actually turned into concrete and the collar had hardened...as did Floyd's neck. There was rope hanging from the collar with an old clip. Actually 2 old clips were on the collar..he must have been tied to a box.. His nails are very very long. He does enjoy his clean new surroundings now, and his daily walks, and clean fresh food and water daily.. With love and care Floyd will do well if you have a nice retirement home for him that he so much deserves. (Floyd has a turmor hanging from his belly also, that doesn't seem to bother him...)
12-10-06 WENT TO A WONDERFUL LADY WHO IS GOING TO LET HIM LIVE HIS TIME OUT COMFORTABLY AND HAPPILY!!! TREATING HIM FOR HEARTWORM. HE IS SO LUCKY TO HAVE QUALITY TO THE REST OF HIS LIFE THAT HE DESERVES SO MUCH.
